Getting started
What is Intrface?
Intrface is a managed experiential engagement and measurement platform for live events. It connects physical touchpoints, browser-based attendee journeys and event reporting in one deployment.
Can Intrface fit into our existing event plan?
Yes. Keep your registration, ticketing, creative, venue and production workflows. Intrface adds participation and measurement around them, whether you are planning an event, pop-up, booth, sampling program or retail experience. We scope any connections to your existing technology together before agreeing the deployment.
Is there a minimum event size?
There is no hard minimum. A small guest list can still have a large experiential impact. We can support a focused, single-brand activation or a broader, multi-partner event, and work through a custom scope if the packages do not fit.
What could this do for our brand awareness?
Connect in-person sampling, product discovery, challenges, rewards and networking into an experience people remember. Give people a reason to participate, then measure the actions that matter to your campaign.
Attendee experience
How do attendees join? Do they need an app?
There is no mandatory app-store download. Attendees enter in their phone’s browser through the event’s configured entry route, such as a link, invite, QR code or NFC touchpoint. We confirm device compatibility, connectivity and any permissions needed for the experience you choose.
Will attendees actually use it?
Give people a reason to take part: useful connections, discoveries, challenges or rewards. At a recent event, 100 profiles generated 2,235 logged actions, including 807 quest-task completions.
Our ticketing software already has an event app. Why use Intrface?
Intrface focuses on engagement and intelligence: connected physical moments, interaction, rewards and a journey people can take part in. It works alongside your existing event tools, adding experiences and participation data around the information they already provide.
Hardware & setup
Do you provide the hardware?
We scope and prepare the hardware needed for your deployment. We work with our partners to coordinate manufacturing, shipping and logistics, device programming and quality control.
Do we need every type of hardware?
No. We choose the objects for the interactions and measurements you need. A phone-based experience may use connected tap points without wristbands. Passive UHF measurement requires compatible credentials and reader equipment; an NFC-only wristband is not enough.
Can you measure zones without attendees using the browser experience?
Yes. Passive RFID measurement can work on its own: compatible credentials are detected in configured zones without attendees opening the browser experience or performing a tap. Reporting can show individual activity and aggregate movement between those zones. Individual reporting requires the agreed association between credentials and participant records. Hardware, identification and coverage are scoped for the event.
What does passive equipment need at the venue?
We agree on the zones, compatible credentials, reader and antenna locations, venue access, power and network requirements with you. Venue conditions and installation layout determine coverage. Intrface prepares and tests the agreed setup.
Data & reporting
What can we measure?
Depending on the deployment, reporting can cover participation, activity at configured touchpoints, completed challenges, repeat visits, networking, sponsor interactions, movement between selected zones and drop-off. The participant information and measures included follow your event or campaign objectives.
How are identity, privacy and permissions handled?
We agree on how profiles or credentials identify participants, which individual and combined records are needed, and the information and opt-ins attendees see. Data collection, reporting access, retention and permitted follow-up are scoped for the event. Permissions are not assumed from a tap or zone detection.
What do we receive after the event?
You receive engagement reporting and participation data based on the experience and measurement features deployed. We help you understand what happened, evaluate programming and sponsor experiences, and use those insights to make decisions for your next event.
Can the relationship continue after the activation?
Yes. The relationship can continue through permissioned follow-up, future experiences and rewards. The audience follow-up plan is agreed as part of the campaign.
Pricing & delivery
How much does Intrface cost?
Core starts at $9,999 and Plus starts at $22,000. Enterprise is quoted individually. Your event requirements and agreed scope determine the final investment.
What is included, and what usually costs extra?
Every package includes strategy, configuration, deployment support and reporting. Plus adds POI stations, passive tracking and custom merch/swag; Enterprise supports larger deployments, custom development and integrations. Hardware quantities, production, staffing, travel and technical complexity affect the final quote.
How far in advance should we contact you?
Most deployments take roughly 4–8 weeks from kickoff to launch. Contact us before that window so there is time to agree on the scope. Larger or more complex events may need longer; if your date is closer, tell us and we’ll assess what is practical.
How much work will our team need to do?
Your team brings the event goals, date, venue details and brand materials, then reviews the proposed experience and coordinates with us and the venue. Our goal is to make life easier for you, not add complexity. Intrface designs and configures the experience, prepares the hardware, trains your staff and volunteers, and manages the agreed live support and reporting.
Will your team be onsite?
Intrface manages the agreed setup, testing and live operational support. Onsite coverage, staffing, logistics and the responsibilities of your team, venue and other suppliers are confirmed during planning.
Can this become sponsor inventory and generate revenue?
Yes. Almost all our surfaces can be individually branded. Physical hardware, digital challenges, networking, leaderboards, stations and rewards can become part of your sponsor offering, with interactive inventory to sell and activity to report.
Working with agencies
Can you work with our agency, and who owns the client relationship?
Yes. We work alongside brand, experiential, creative and event teams. The agency keeps the client relationship and leads the account and creative direction. Intrface can work behind the agency brand or alongside it as the specialist technology partner, with client-facing roles agreed at the start.
Can you help before we win the pitch?
Yes. Bring a brief, RFP or early concept. We can help with feasibility, experience ideas, pitch-ready mockups, scope and budget guidance, and technical pitch support.
Can our agency make margin on this?
Yes. Margin-friendly agency pricing lets you include Intrface in your own client scope. You set your client pricing and sell the capability as part of the wider project.
How custom can the experience be?
Highly. Nearly all elements of Intrface can be custom branded. Physical hardware and deployment can be customized to the client’s requirements, with the scope agreed before production.
Do we need an in-house tech team?
No. We bring the software, hardware and experiential technology expertise. Your team can pitch connected stations, quests, networking and rewards without building that capability internally.
