How It Works / The system

The engagement layer built around your event.

Intrface combines branded attendee software, connected hardware, active and passive tracking, and event data in one managed system. Keep your registration, ticketing, venue, creative, and production stack; we build around it.

01 / THE ATTENDEE EXPERIENCE

Software

A connected experience

Attendees seamlessly join the experience in their mobile browser. Their profile connects their participation, connections, and progress.

Tools for a curated attendee journey

A branded event hub, event information, participation and engagement with incentives, and a personal view of what to do next.

Schedules and event maps

Drag-and-drop agendas link to speakers and performers. Interactive event maps help attendees find their way. Customize both and update them live.

A customized engagement and progression configuration

Intrface sets up the campaign, content and interaction rules: what each supported attendee action does and how it affects participation or progress.

Browser based and low friction

No mandatory app-store download. No more clunky event apps; once someone uses Intrface, they can just "tap in" through connected touchpoints.

02 / CONNECT PEOPLE AND PLACES TO THE SYSTEM

Hardware

Connected identity credentials

Intrface-powered wristbands, name tags or badges link to participant profiles directly. We select credentials based on the event, tracking needs and setup.

Beacons and touchpoints

Connected tap or discovery points associate activity with a configured place or experience.

Merch and swag

Intrface-powered gear creates a multi-use activation point attendees can carry beyond the event.

Zone-tracking equipment

Compatible credentials, RFID readers, and configured antennas can capture movement and dwell time on a per-user basis in selected zones.

Displays and POI tablets

Informational and interactive displays or touch screens that bring customizable leaderboards, check-in stations, or sponsor-specific content onto the floor.

03 / RECORDED ACTIVITY BECOMES EVENT DATA

Data

Interpreting the tracking data

Recorded engagement and activity can connect an attendee, a touchpoint or configured activity, and a specfiic time, creating a much clearer view of your event floor.

Get insights into your attendee's interests

An intentional check-in records participation. A passive zone detection records presence. See both and understand what held attendee attention.

Micro and macro views

The Intrface dashboard gives individual-level per-user journey data, along with combined views that show activity across the event and time.

Optimize and refine

Insights and suggestions pulled from previous events to help you optimize foot traffic, content timing and subject matter, and other elements of your event with a data-driven understanding.

ROI, for you and your sponsors

Get real granular detail on which speakers, performances, quests, POIs, exhibitors, or other content drove engagement best, and show concrete data to sponsors on the value they got from your event.

We tailor the software, hardware, and data to your event’s attendee journey, venue, operational needs, and measurement goals.

How it comes together

The attendee-facing experience.

The actual flow will vary with every type of event, but generally Intrface-powered events lead an attendee through a progression of actions that enrich the experience and reward them on short loops.

Active records participation.
Passive records presence in configured zones.

Use either or both. With the agreed identification setup, they contribute different records to the same event view. A zone detection does not automatically award points or trigger an interactive feature.

Practical fit

Configured and managed by Intrface.

Your team defines the experience. Intrface configures the software, prepares the connected hardware, and manages the agreed setup. We confirm venue requirements, staffing responsibilities, and reporting with you before the event.

Can we keep our existing event tools?

Yes. Keep your registration, ticketing, event management, and production workflows. Intrface adds participation and measurement around them. We review any requested connection to another tool.

How do attendees access the browser experience?

Through a link, invite, QR code, or Intrface-powered touchpoint. There is no mandatory app-store download.

Can we use passive measurement on its own?

Yes. ID credentials can be detected in set zones without attendees opening the browser experience or performing a tap. We can link the ID to a registration profile with or without the branded event hub.

Do we need every type of hardware?

No. We choose the objects for the interactions and measurements you need. A phone-based experience may use connected tap points without wristbands. Passive tracking requires additional specialized hardware.

What does passive equipment need at the venue?

Once we agree on zones and the type of ID credential, we'll plan installation. We may need venue access, power, and a hardwired ethernet or dedicated wifi network. Venue conditions and installation layout determine coverage. Intrface prepares and tests the agreed setup.

How are identity and permissions handled?

See our privacy policy. Per-event, we agree on the information and opt-ins attendees see. Access, retention, and permitted follow-up are planned as part of the campaign, and attendees can choose to opt-out.

Who handles live support?

Intrface manages the agreed configuration, setup, testing, and live operational support. We confirm on-site coverage and the responsibilities of your team, venue, and other suppliers before the event. Staffing and venue support are part of that agreement.
